IT Technician with a Desire to Grow

Do you want to help develop the IT structure of the future in a technology-driven group with a global presence? Argynnis Group AB is now looking for an IT technician for the office in Trollhättan. This is a role with strong development potential and is perfect for you who want to combine operational work with strategic responsibility.

Argynnis Group AB has its roots in Binar AB and is now part of the Pomona group. We are an investment organization focused on technology-driven niche companies in industrial automation, vehicle solutions, and heating/drying systems. The group currently consists of 14 active companies, of which Argynnis Group serves as a hub for management, administration, and IT. In addition to Sweden, Argynnis has operations in Finland, Germany, France, England, the USA, and China. Our goal is to continue to grow, both organically and through new acquisitions.

About the Role

As an IT technician, you will have broad responsibility for the operation, support, and development of the IT environment within our Swedish subsidiaries, as well as strategic support to our international companies. You will work closely with an experienced team and have the opportunity to grow into a more strategic role over time.

Your responsibilities include

• Monitoring servers, networks, and applications
• Incident management and troubleshooting
• Security operations and threat analysis
• User and access management
• Documentation and improvement work
• IT policy and strategy work
• Participating in projects, procurements, and company acquisitions

Your Profile

As an IT technician with us, you will have a central role where you both work operationally and contribute to strategic development work. You have a strong technical background and are passionate about creating secure, efficient, and user-friendly IT solutions in a growing corporate environment. You are accustomed to quickly adapting to new systems and see it as a given to drive improvements and share your knowledge.

• Good understanding of the interplay of IT components, security aspects, and operational issues
• Competence in cybersecurity, such as working with Microsoft Defender, vulnerability assessments, and modern security solutions
• Experience in server operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting, as well as capacity management
• Ability to interpret and implement IT policies and work with documentation and improvement proposals

As a person, you are communicative and find it easy to create new contacts even internationally. You are curious and have an interest in technology, especially in cybersecurity. With a structured and analytical approach, you take initiatives, drive improvement projects, and understand how different parts of the IT environment are interconnected. Your ambition and desire to develop characterize you as a person.
