The Health and Care Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, and is responsible for authority functions according to applicable legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and authority functions. All work is performed with the resident in focus, based on the value foundation; respect, participation, trust, and security. Together we make each other better and work to achieve the Health and Care Administration's vision of quality of life throughout life.

Our elderly homes are both a safe care environment and a social meeting place for seniors in Sigtuna municipality. The residences are designed to offer tailored care based on various needs and interests.

All residences have units with both somatic and cognitive orientations (dementia). All offer social activities, care, and assistance in a safe environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to work with something meaningful and contribute to increased quality of life for the elderly in Sigtuna municipality? We are now looking for substitute workers for our elderly homes in Märsta and Sigtuna.

As a substitute worker, you will work with care, service, and nursing of the elderly. You will be an important part of a team that together creates security, participation, and well-being for our residents. Work takes place both during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

This is a spontaneous application - we will contact you when the need for substitute workers arises at our elderly homes Arhem, Hemskogen, Ymer, or Ärlinghem.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant ongoing or completed education in health and care and/or experience working in the field.
• Good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as documentation is part of the job.

To thrive in the role of a substitute worker, we see that you are a team player who works according to Sigtuna municipality's value foundation - the resident first, equal value for all, and quality in focus. You have a genuine interest in working with people, are structured, responsible, and secure in yourself. The work requires personal maturity, sensitivity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The work also requires good physical ability as lifting and transfers occur.
