Randstad is now looking for a structured and driven tactical buyer for a consulting assignment at Siemens Energy in Finspång. In your role, you will work in an international environment with many points of contact – both internally and externally with suppliers. You will be part of the purchasing team in Finspång and play an important role in the purchasing organization for the new manufacturing of gas turbines.

At Siemens Energy in Finspång, development, manufacturing, and service of gas turbines for power generation takes place for the entire world. There is also a comprehensive service organization on-site that covers all delivered products and facility systems including industrial heat pumps and steam turbines. You will work in a dynamic work environment with many internal and external contact points.

You will be part of an engaged purchasing team with high drive and good cohesion.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for order placement, delivery monitoring, follow-up, and invoicing
• Ensure that deliveries arrive on time, with the right quality and at the right cost
• Work on supplier development and forecast follow-up
• Plan and hold supplier meetings, communicate daily with suppliers and internal functions and customers such as production, logistics, and engineering

Qualifications

• We expect you to have relevant education in purchasing or logistics (KY/YH, university or otherwise experience/knowledge in the field)
• Previous experience in operational/tactical purchasing work, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
• We see that you have good communication skills. You are clear, attentive, and confident in dialogue with internal and external parties. You enjoy having many points of contact and varied tasks
• You are self-driven, solution-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You are meticulous and structured in your work approach
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working in SAP is an advantage
