We are looking for someone who is curious, patient, and has the ability to understand what the individual needs help with. The user is a 15-year-old boy with autism, who has very limited verbal communication and communicates with a few words and with the help of visual support.

The position will involve approximately 3 shifts a week between 16:30-20:30, and weekend work may also occur.

As a personal assistant, you need to be able to interpret and understand him, help him communicate with the outside world, and guide him in his daily life. He is cheerful, energetic, enjoys playing video games, loves being outdoors, goes horseback riding, and has a dog. There are times when he may exhibit challenging behavior, so it is important that you are self-assured and have a low-arousal approach.

Since it is necessary to get to know the user to work independently with him, we have chosen to have an onboarding period for all assistants where previous assistants will help in understanding the user's communication methods.

You will work in the user's home and assist in all daily situations such as personal hygiene and activities.

The user has been granted supervision as a basic need, which means you must always be in the same room as the user. The job requires a lot of patience due to the user's lack of communication.
