In this role, the daily care work in home care is combined with a special responsibility for hygiene and the well-being in the workplace.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you have a central role in our clients' lives. Your tasks vary based on each individual's needs but may include:

• Personal care - assistance with hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals.
• Social support and conversation – providing security, companionship, and joy in everyday life.
• Documentation – carefully document care interventions according to decisions and implementation plans.
• Supervision and assistance when needed - being a support in handling various situations, for example during transfers. 

In addition to this, you will have extended responsibilities: 

• Well-being responsibility – contribute to a positive work environment by caring for order, community, and a good atmosphere in the workplace.
• Hygiene representative – keep yourself updated on current hygiene routines, spread knowledge to colleagues, and be a role model in daily work to ensure a safe and infection-free care environment.

Who are you? 

We are looking for someone who shares our view that care is done with the heart – and who also wants to contribute to structure and well-being in the team. To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:

• Nursing assistant education – and preferably experience in home care.
• Fluent in Swedish - you master Swedish both in speech and writing and have the ability to document in a professional manner.
• Driver's license B – you are a safe and experienced driver.
• Sense of responsibility – you have the ability to see the whole picture, plan, and take initiative.
• Empathetic and communicative ability – you meet both clients and colleagues with respect and attentiveness.
• Flexibility – you adapt easily to changes and new situations.
• Stress-resistant, responsible, and independent – you handle pressured situations calmly and decisively, take responsibility for your tasks, and enjoy working independently, but are happy to collaborate when needed.

Working hours and employment conditions

Working hours: 07:15 - 15:30 Monday to Friday

Employment rate: permanent, with a 6-month probationary period

Location: you will start from our office in Täby Kyrkby and work within Vallentuna municipality.
