The position is located at the social services department, which works to provide residents of Gnesta municipality with good and accessible service based on individual needs. We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, people with disabilities, municipal health and medical care, as well as labor market, integration, and adult education. The department works on behalf of the social committee.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Åsbacka daily activities focus on supporting people with disabilities according to LSS. Our days are about creating meaning, joy, and social interaction. We work together to shape a workday filled with meaningful scheduled activities such as various crafts, walks, we have a cable workshop where we extract copper, we perform various service tasks for the municipality, assist in the ice rink, we have individual and group internships, etc. Our goal is for each individual to feel seen, heard, and have the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have:
• knowledge and solid experience with the target group.
• Relevant pedagogical or care-oriented education.
• Knowledge of AAC, TP, and low-arousal approach.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, with previous experience in documentation.
• calm, secure, curious, both structured and flexible, with the ability to create good relationships - you thrive in an environment where every day is unique.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
