We are looking for an assistant priest who, together with other engaged individuals, wants to build the parish and create contexts for people with the church in the village as a starting point.

Here is an active parish where you will contribute with your knowledge and be involved in shaping and developing worship life and activities.

We have a church, a chapel within walking distance, and the Church House that houses our workplaces and parish activities. We are a reliable, safe, and cohesive team that enjoys working together. The position includes evening and weekend duties.

Torshälla is beautifully located by Lake Mälaren, about an hour's drive from Stockholm. Approximately 10,000 people live here, of which around 5,200 are members of the Church of Sweden. The parish has a beautiful medieval church, a clear diaconal profile, several choirs, extensive volunteer engagement, and a rich Swedish-Finnish bilingual work. We have a strong focus on children, youth, and confirmation students in our activities.

• Parish activities with low thresholds but a clear church profile

You as a person

• Are ordained in the Church of Sweden
• Have good social skills, enjoy meeting people, and working together.
• See yourself in a larger context but can also work independently.
• Have a clear structure and good planning in your work.
• Share the faith and values of the Church of Sweden.
