Your Workplace
We warmly welcome you to Årjäng Health Care Centre!
We are a small, well-functioning health care centre with around 5,400 registered patients, located in western Värmland close to the Norwegian border.
Here, you will find the perfect balance: opportunities for an active outdoor lifestyle combined with excellent transport links to both Karlstad and Oslo.
We provide our residents with accessible, high-quality healthcare and are proud to be the leading health care centre in Värmland when it comes to meeting the national healthcare guarantee – offering patients an initial medical assessment within three days.
At Årjäng Health Centre, you will join a dedicated and welcoming team with a genuine passion for healthcare and continuous improvement. We actively focus on both patient care and staff wellbeing, and we are proud that we currently have no waiting lists for our specialist clinics.
Our team includes a wide range of professionals working closely together, often in multidisciplinary teams: doctors, district and registered nurses, assistant nurses, counsellors, medical secretaries, a rehabilitation coordinator, and a podiatrist. We take an innovative approach to healthcare, including task-shifting to ensure patients receive the best effective care at the appropriate level (BEON). We are also committed to expanding digital healthcare solutions, making our services more accessible for all.
If you are looking for a safe and calm environment for your family, with the health care centre within walking distance and surrounded by fresh air, forests, and lakes – Årjäng is the right place for you. This is also the perfect setting if you want to grow and develop as a general practitioner.
