Responsibilities

Develop embedded Linux firmware: bringup, device drivers, features, diagnostics
Work with various types of sensors, like cameras and radar units
Implement efficient low-level code in C and C++
Debug and root-cause a variety of hardware and software issues
Optimize platform for speed, resource efficiency, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams all the way from system design to production
Tinker, prototype, and experiment

Requirements

Must have:

Master's degree or equivalent
5+ years of relevant career experience
Extensive experience with embedded Linux development
Strong proficiency in C and/or C++
Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals - process scheduler, memory management, concurrency/synchronization, memory allocation, file systems
Passion for performance, optimization, and reliability
Strong debugging skills in kernel context
A hands-on mindset — you love building, experimenting, and making things work

Nice to have:

Experience with RTOS firmware development
Familiarity with electronics and hardware debugging tools, e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
Understanding of networking protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
Familiarity with the CUDA toolkit
Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
