Job Description
Spectral AB is a small high-tech company that provides leading industries and universities in the Nordic region with products to understand materials down to the micro or nano scale. Fundamentally, we are a family business and our team has been active in the Nordic region since 1995. The team has extensive experience in both microscopy and the materials sector, allowing us to work closely with customers across a range of applications. We are now looking for a Service and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Service and Logistics Coordinator with us, you will work broadly with both our customers and all internal employees. Since we are a smaller company, we help each other and collaborate to provide our customers with the best possible service and delivery. You will play an important role in ensuring that products and materials arrive on time and provide our technicians with what they need to perform their work. You will have a lot of direct contact with our customers as they will primarily reach out to you regarding our services.
We offer you a broad role where you will work with service, logistics, and finance, a role that you will help shape together with us. We believe in flexibility and freedom under responsibility. As a smaller company, we are used to everyone working as a team and supporting each other. Welcome to us!
In this recruitment, Spectral is collaborating with Randstad. Selection and interviews are handled continuously. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the responsible recruitment consultant Linda Cooper at [email protected]
Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders. Order, receive orders, and invoice
- Delivery monitoring and customs documentation
- Responsible for inventory, receiving deliveries, and checking the availability of materials and storage space
- Responsible for ordering and sending materials to service technicians
- Follow up on service agreements and be responsible for new sales of these
- Handle quotes and invoicing related to our service agreements
- Responsible for updating important information in our internal systems related to orders and materials to ensure that deliveries to customers and internal staff are made according to schedule
- Report our operations in Norway, such as working hours, trade, and customs
About the position:
- We offer a permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months
- Working hours Monday to Friday approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- We are currently located in premises in Lidingö but plan to move in the future, possibly to the northern part of Stockholm, perhaps Solna
Qualifications
- High school education with a focus on economics or vocational training with a focus on logistics
- A couple of years of work experience in a role where you have worked with logistics flows, including orders, delivery tracking, customer agreements, and communication with customers and suppliers
- You speak and write fluently in Swedish and have a good ability to express yourself in English, both verbally and in writing
- You have experience working in systems for order/inventory/invoicing and CRM/customer database as well as MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with our specific systems Fortnox and Zoho is certainly an advantage but not a requirement
- To thrive in the role, we see that you are flexible, unpretentious, and proactive. We highly value our customers, and therefore we are looking for someone who always has a customer focus and values collaboration with them as well as with us internally
About the company
Spectral AB
Mats Eriksson explains: “Spectral AB is the result of a long family tradition and is a continuation of the company my parents started in 1979. We have a small number of equipment suppliers based in Germany, the USA, Canada, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the UK, and Japan with whom we work closely. With these, we have essentially exclusive agreements for the Nordic countries where we provide products and support. Our customers are found in both industry and academia across almost all areas. From mining and metal industry to pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. From steel to lithium batteries to viruses. Some customers are very large companies, and some are smaller startups that we follow on their growth journey. But what is common for all is that we work together for many years, thus creating long relationships with our customers. We have customers from Sønderborg in southern Denmark to Tromsø in northern Norway, from Reykjavik in Iceland or Bergen in western Norway to Joensuu in eastern Finland. All Nordic countries are managed from our office and by our team in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Lund. Our operations are half focused on the sale of systems and products, often for multi-million amounts, and half on providing our customers with service and support over several decades.”
