Nurse for Surgical Department 15, Sundsvall
REGION VÄSTERNORRLANDVästernorrlands län, Sundsvall
We are a force that connects, holds together, and develops the region. Within Region Västernorrland, we are all part of something bigger.
Department 15 is one of two departments within the Surgical/Urology/ENT operational area. Here, we provide surgical care after colorectal surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and ear-nose-throat. A large part of our operations is planned, but we also conduct direct admissions from the emergency room and other clinics to our urological, vascular, and ear sections. After the turn of the year, we will also open our surgical outpatient team.
With us, you will be involved in development and improvement work that constantly moves us and the care forward.
Surgical Department 15 has 24 care places staffed by dedicated nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and other important health professionals who work together in teams around the patients. We also have nurses with specialist functions. We have also started a collaboration with Professor Anna Forsberg, sometimes referred to as the "queen of nursing". Together with her, we are developing structures to create safe care relationships with continuity, daily systematic assessment, and analysis of the patient's health and situation according to "head to toe" (all patients should be examined by a nurse with warm hands during each shift) and strengthen nurses in their leadership roles.
In the unit, you will work with a digital patient overview via a personal tablet that you carry with you during your shift. On the tablet, you have a very good overview of your patients, their information and condition, medication lists, and what tasks you and your colleagues need to perform.
We actively work on the development of our operations and invest in ensuring that you as a new employee receive a good introduction and further education to have the best possible conditions in your work, regardless of whether you are new to the role or experienced. With us, you will have a developing and enjoyable job where you are welcomed by an engaged team. We use a clear introduction program to receive newly hired nurses, which ensures that you have a safe and good start to your career, regardless of your previous level of experience.
Do you want to be part of our team? We are now looking for nurses for Surgical Department 15 in Sundsvall. The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

We offer you a good introduction, clear routines, professional development, and present leadership. But perhaps most importantly, we offer you a job with fantastic colleagues.
