GlobalConnect is now looking for a dedicated employee for its technical support department. Here you will work in a close-knit team with 11 colleagues, where the focus is on solving technical problems together and ensuring high operational reliability for the company's customers.

The office is centrally located by Uppsala Central Station, with the possibility to work from home up to two days a week. The desired start date is as soon as possible, taking into account any notice period.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and managing technical cases via phone, email, and their case management system
  • Troubleshooting network-related issues related to fiber connections, local networks (LAN), and wireless networks (WiFi)
  • Collaborating with technicians and other teams to resolve complex cases
  • Documenting cases in the case management system and ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
  • Contributing to improving internal routines and processes within support

Qualifications

In this role, we would like you to have the following:

  • Fluent knowledge of Danish and English, both spoken and written
  • A strong interest or previous experience in telecommunications and IT infrastructure
  • Very good system skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and platforms

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience working in technical support, helpdesk, or a similar role

More about the employment

  • Start: As soon as possible, taking into account any notice period
  • Employment type: You will initially be employed as a consultant through The Place, with the possibility of extension or employment with the client company
  • Working hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday from 08:00 to 17:00
  • Location: The headquarters is located by Uppsala Central Station, and there is an opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.
