Machine Rental Sales Representative – Uppsala

With your curiosity and engagement, you will contribute to Skanska Rental's journey to take further steps into the market from a stable platform. As a sales representative, you will build and develop long-term customer relationships with both existing and new customers. Furthermore, you will create business based on goals and strategies set in collaboration with our sales and marketing function. You will visit customers and their projects to find out how we can best help them. This involves meetings at customers' headquarters and construction sites, ensuring they are met with excellent service and advice when renting machinery for various construction and civil engineering projects.
The role is as varied as your customers, who will work on both large and small construction projects. You will have great freedom to plan and carry out your work, while receiving coaching and support from your manager and colleagues in sales and marketing. Since the job involves many contacts internally as well as externally, it is important that you find it easy to build networks and have a genuine and natural interest in people, contributing to further strengthening our positive work climate.
The location is Uppsala, where you will operate from our customer center and have a valuable internal network, working together to continue providing our customers with the best experiences. Furthermore, your work area will extend across Uppland and Västmanland, where your internal and external networking is highly valuable.
You are skilled in networking and business
- You have at least five years of experience in customer and sales work within the rental industry or technical sales, alternatively experience in production management within the construction industry and experience in sales.
- A B-class driver's license is a requirement as customer visits and travel are part of the job.
- It is an advantage if you have education in sales/marketing/economics, or equivalent experience. Experience working with both large and small customers, as well as with CRM systems, is strongly meritorious.
You are driven, unpretentious, and independent, and your forward-looking attitude is reflected both in your work and as a person. You are good at creating profitable businesses, which you do with great personal engagement – always with the customer in focus. You are also a role model for us both internally and externally, which is why it is important that you share Skanska's values.
