Folkuniversitetet's course activities offer courses and lectures in areas such as languages, economics, creative arts, writing, health, and sustainable development. A large part of our activities consists of study circles and cultural events. We are now looking for a circle leader in Korean.

About the position
For example, the course activities offer evening courses in areas such as languages, dance, crafts, art, etc., in Linköping. We have courses in the evenings from January to May and September to December.

Main responsibilities
- Teach Korean to adult beginners and advanced learners
- Plan for each class
- Simple administrative tasks before and after classes, such as recording attendance and writing a few lines about what you did in each class in our administrative system E-Service.

Your skills and background
We are looking for someone with very good knowledge of Korean and an interest in cultural and societal issues related to Korea. You should also have good knowledge of Swedish. It is an advantage if you have education and experience in teaching adults or have other experience in leading groups.

Qualifications
- Expertise in Korean or work experience in the subject
- Basic knowledge of computers and the internet
- Experience teaching adults is an advantage.

The course starts in February 2026

We want you, as a language teacher, to have the language you teach as your native language or to speak it at a native level. Most of our teachers teach in their native language and are therefore also a source of knowledge about the country's culture and society. If you do not have the teaching language as your native language, we want you to have lived for a longer period in a country where the language is spoken. As an educator at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to tailor the teaching to individuals and bring out each individual's potential.
