We are currently looking for someone who speaks Finnish, as we have several clients with a Finnish background who would appreciate support in their native language. Language skills beyond Swedish are therefore an asset.

Job Responsibilities – What will you do?

You will work to provide clients with the help they are entitled to according to assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. Examples of job duties:

  • Personal hygiene – assistance with showering, toilet visits, and other personal care.
  • Meal support – assistance with preparation, serving, and feeding if necessary.
  • Supervision and companionship – creating security and contributing to the client's social context.
  • Dressing and undressing – practical support with changing clothes.
  • Support at home – for example, laundry and other daily chores.
  • Emergency alarms – quickly responding to urgent needs from clients who have triggered alarms. We work on behalf of Österåker Municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.
Who are you?

To fit in with us, we see that you have the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Certified nursing assistant education – you are trained and experienced in your field. (Meritorious)
  • Fluent in Swedish – you master Swedish both in speech and writing and can document professionally. (Requirement)
  • Fluent in Finnish – you master Finnish both in speech and writing. (Requirement)
  • Driver's license B – you are a safe driver and used to navigating traffic. (Requirement)
  • Stress-resistant and responsible – you handle pressured situations with calmness and determination.
  • Independent – you enjoy working independently but are also a team player when needed.
  • Empathetic and attentive – you have a genuine desire to help and understand that each client has their own needs and wishes.
  • Communicative – you find it easy to communicate and collaborate with both clients and colleagues.
  • Flexible and solution-oriented – you are used to working in an environment where no day is the same as the other.
  • Meticulous and responsible – you have a high quality awareness and take responsibility for your work.
  • Digitally savvy – you have experience working with mobile phones and documentation in digital systems.
Working hours and setup:

Working hours: Monday – Sunday. For this position, we offer a part-time employment. Working hours: 07:00 – 15:30 or 15:30 – 22:30. Workplace: You will start from our office in Österåker, and we believe you live nearby to facilitate your commute.
