The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 emergency centers, Finspång Health Center, child health care unit, vaccination clinic, 1177, and general medical training center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The Vadstena Health Center currently has about 7,400 registered patients. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, alongside staff who are passionate about development and going the extra mile for our patients.

Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job at our medical clinic. We hope you will be interested in the breadth of the specialty of general medicine and consider a future in primary care. As a junior doctor with us, you will receive regular supervision and have the opportunity to participate in training together with other junior doctors. Together, we will design an introduction based on your needs. With us, you will meet both urgent and planned patients, and since there is always a specialist doctor available for supervision, you do not need to be afraid to challenge yourself.

At the health center, there are medical consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nursing consultations, child health care, psychosocial competence, foot care, and laboratory services. We are also responsible for two elderly care homes.

Work Group

We are about 30 employees at the health center who enjoy working together, and we have an open work climate. Here, all questions are welcome, and we all help each other to provide the best care we can with the conditions we have.

About You

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical degree. Furthermore, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other organizations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. As we have many elderly patients in our care area, it is crucial that you communicate clearly.

As a person, you are self-assured and have good collaboration skills. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. It is also important that you are unpretentious, curious to learn new things, and view constructive feedback as a natural part of daily work. You can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
