Do you have experience in testing and want to take the next step in your career in an exciting industry? At DeLaval, you have the chance to become part of an innovative company that is world-leading in fully automated milking systems.
Working as a Test Engineer at DeLaval
DeLaval is the world's largest developer, manufacturer, and supplier of solutions for milk production. For over 100 years, DeLaval has been a technology leader in the food industry and continues to drive development forward. At DeLaval, the vision is to enable sustainable food production, which is at the core of everything we do.
As a Test Engineer at DeLaval, you will be part of their Verification and Validation Team within Robotic Milking. The role involves working with the entire system, both hardware and software, and contributing to ensuring the quality of their world-leading milking solutions.
You will test DeLaval's products in various environments: in the lab, in the office, and out on farms with customers. This means that you will sometimes work closely with animals and gain unique insight into how their technology is used in practice.
Your tasks will include:
- Testing hardware and software in the lab and at customer sites
- Contributing your expertise across the system, from electronics to software
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure high quality in our solutions
The position is full-time and located at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, with the possibility of remote work 1-2 times a week. Travel to customers may occur.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience with bug tracking systems; DeLaval uses Jira.
- Familiarity with working in a lab environment and enjoys a practical, hands-on approach.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and enjoys working with others.
