ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for a personal assistant for one of our clients residing in Örebro. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and step in as a substitute when needed. The working hours are mainly scheduled between 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM on both weekdays and weekends. Work at other times may occur, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and can adapt as needed.

The start date will be agreed upon, but we would like you to be able to start the introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a woman in her 60s living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), fibromyalgia, and asthma. To make her daily life work as best as possible, she uses aids such as a manual wheelchair, electric wheelchair, cough machine, feeding tube, turner, etc.

The client has a big heart for her three sphynx cats, whom she spends a lot of time with at home. It is important that you, as an applicant, do not have pets, as the client is allergic to fur.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of her daily life. Your tasks will include:

• Assisting with daily routines such as household chores and transfers
• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and providing support during training

We are looking for someone who is responsible and attentive, and who enjoys working closely with another person in everyday life. You are comfortable working independently, have a positive attitude, and can adapt to different situations.

The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in helping others and a willingness to learn. Our client prefers female applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Trained nursing assistant
• Experience with: pariboy, suctioning, tube feeding, and turner
• No pets due to client’s allergy
• Non-smoker
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
