Ametisten is a modern nursing home in Solna for individuals with dementia and somatic illnesses. We offer individually tailored care with heart, integrity, and choice. Ametisten has an activity profile that includes history, literature, film, and theater. We collaborate with, among others, the local heritage association, the film city, and the library in Solna. Young people from Ung Omsorg visit the residence to add an extra touch of joy to life.

About the role

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of a team with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff. Together, you are tasked with enhancing the quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

In the role of physiotherapist, you will work with residents to find the best ways to utilize their own abilities in daily life. You will support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their mobility. This often involves you:

• assessing/treating the residents' movement problems and disabilities
• prescribing and recommending medical aids
• working preventively by educating other staff on transfer techniques to avoid strain injuries.
