Welcome to Sisjödal, a modern care and nursing home for individuals in need of care and support around the clock. In early 2021, our newly built nursing home opened in the new area of Sisjödal, located in Askim, Gothenburg. At Sisjödal, we are driven by the belief that aging should not limit the opportunity for an attractive residence and a meaningful life. Here, one should feel safe and be able to enjoy life to the fullest.

Job Responsibilities

The health and medical care needs of our residents vary from preventive care to the need for advanced medical care, leading to a varied and diverse job. The care we provide is based on person-centered care and support, which is built on the individual’s needs and wishes. Your contributions make a difference in people's lives, providing the opportunity to feel great meaning in the work you do.

As a staff member, your role includes providing residents with care, service, support, and conducting social activities based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. You are closest to the resident and thus play a key role in the team alongside nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Your task is to provide quality of life. Thanks to you, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• It is an advantage if you have a nursing assistant education or equivalent training, and it is positive if you have experience working in care.
• Sees opportunities and has a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people.
• Furthermore, we see that you have a good attitude, are professional in your role, and have an easy time collaborating with others but also possess a good ability to work independently.
• Good computer skills
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Conditions

As we care about the safety of our staff and residents, we apply random drug and alcohol tests as well as the presentation of a criminal record. A pre-employment test will take place before employment begins.
