The Social Services Administration, with approximately 1275 employees, encompasses five areas of operation. These are regular housing, special housing, LSS and social psychiatry, HSL and short-term accommodations, as well as Management Support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a case officer, you will primarily work with investigations, assessments, and decisions, as well as follow-up of interventions according to SoL (Social Services Act) such as home care and special housing.
We use the operational system LifeCare and process according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus). The work involves close dialogue with individuals applying for services and their potential representatives.
The investigative work involves gathering information, compiling, analyzing, and evaluating different action alternatives, as well as making decisions based on current legislation.
Monitoring the external environment is part of the job to stay informed about case law, news within legal frameworks, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
You have a university degree from a social care program, social work program, or other education that the employer considers relevant. Good knowledge of applicable legislation is required, and experience in case management is an advantage.
You have good computer skills and master the Swedish language both in speech and writing, and you have the ability to adapt information to the individuals you meet in your work.
You have the ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and can prioritize tasks. As a case officer, good interpersonal skills, collaboration ability, and adaptability to changing circumstances are required. You take initiative and solve problems.
A driver's license is required. Category B, not automatic.
