We are now creating a shared staffing pool for our four operations within Capio Orthopedics in Stockholm. As an anesthetic nurse in our pool, you will have the opportunity to work in several of our leading units – with extensive introduction, local training, and strong team support.

About us

Capio Spine Center Stockholm - Löwenströmska Hospital in Upplands Väsby Our unit performs approximately 1,700 neck and back surgeries per year. We strive to be a complete spine clinic where we work with the entire clinic's combined expertise to focus on the patient and deliver the best quality of care. We operate large volumes and perform lumbar, cervical, and neurosurgery. We are at the forefront of introducing new treatment methods, and research is also conducted here. The operating department is central to our operations, where we perform everything from minor procedures like herniated discs to major corrective surgery. The recovery department is located in close proximity to the operating rooms.

Capio Ortho Center Stockholm - Löwenströmska Hospital in Upplands Väsby Our operations focus on hip and knee joint replacements and are one of the largest healthcare providers in Sweden in this area. We have about 60 employees and offer high-quality care in our newly renovated facilities. We strive to create a work environment where everyone can contribute to the development of the operations, and we offer great opportunities for our staff to influence. Here we have short decision-making paths and strong team support.

Capio Artro Clinic - Sophiahemmet We are Sweden's leading sports injury clinic, a highly specialized orthopedic operation within arthroscopic surgery of the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and elbow, as well as hip and knee prosthetic surgery. We perform about 5,000 surgeries per year and conduct the most ACL surgeries in Sweden. Our operating department consists of five operating rooms at Sophiahemmet and two at Gärdet. Additionally, one of the operating rooms at Sophiahemmet is rented out to the Orthopedic Center. We offer rotation between these units to give you broader experience and professional development.

Capio Orthopedic House - Globen The Orthopedic House is a highly specialized orthopedic clinic and one of Stockholm's largest elective units outside of hospitals. We have care agreements with Region Stockholm and collaborate with several insurance companies. Here we conduct both outpatient care, day surgery, and inpatient surgical care. We are leaders in hip and knee prosthetic surgery as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. The clinic has modern operating rooms and a care department with 19 beds. Our operations are conducted Monday to Friday.

Your role

As an anesthetic nurse in our shared staffing pool, you will have the opportunity to work in several of our orthopedic units in Stockholm. You will be part of professional teams and participate in anesthetic and perioperative care during orthopedic surgeries, including spinal surgery, prosthetic surgery, and arthroscopy.

The work mainly takes place during the day, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of variation in working hours and workplace.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with a specialist education in anesthesia and has an interest in orthopedic surgery. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and want to contribute to an effective and patient-focused way of working. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as responsibility, quality thinking, and a positive attitude. Experience in orthopedic surgery is an advantage, but not a requirement.
