We are now looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Senior Analytics Engineer to strengthen our client's data team in Stockholm. In this role, you will build and develop a Databricks-based platform, designing robust ETL pipelines, data models, and CI/CD processes that transform business needs into high-quality data products.

What you will do

• Develop and improve ETL pipelines in Databricks (PySpark / SQL).
• Collect requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into data products.
• Model data according to Kimball principles and document solutions.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML, artifact handling).
• Ensure access control and data cleaning routines.
• Monitor platform performance, handle job alerts and incidents in ServiceNow.

Must-have qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Databricks using PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Data modeling knowledge based on Kimball principles.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Experience with CI/CD, YAML pipelines, and artifact handling.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Ability to document architecture, data models, and operations.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Experience working in Azure environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks Asset Bundle (DAB).

• Location: Stockholm (on-site, no remote)
• Assignment period: 1 November 2025 – 31 March 2026
