Substitute Teachers | School and Leisure | F-9

Become a part of our substitute team!

International English School Liljeholmen is one of Sweden's largest primary schools with classes from F-9 and leisure with about 1200 students. We are now looking for individuals to join our local substitute bank at the school. We use substitute teachers daily to replace regular staff during absences.

Job Responsibilities

• Substitutes for leisure F-6
• Substitutes as classroom teachers F-3
• Substitutes as teachers in specific subjects F-9 (practical and theoretical)

As a substitute, you will receive a plan and structure to follow for the day regardless of which role you are replacing. The school is bilingual, so it is good if you can speak both Swedish and English, but it is sufficient if you master one of the languages.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is interested in working with children and young people in school or leisure. We hope to find someone who can easily build good relationships, collaborate, and lead groups. You do not need to have previous experience, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability, and we are looking for different types of competencies for the team. It is beneficial if you have the ability to be a safe and clear adult. If you are familiar with what a low-arousal approach means, that is an advantage.

Other

Lessons take place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the school, and our leisure program is open from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Substitute hours vary from day to day depending on need and your availability.
