The school is a K-9 school located centrally in Sundbyberg, with close proximity to trams, buses, subway, and commuter trains. We are also very close to Golfängarna, which is Sundbyberg's large park area. Ängskolan is Sundbyberg's largest primary school divided into two school buildings. “Viggen” where large parts of the lower grades are taught, and “Ängskolan” where parts of the lower grades, all middle school, and high school are located. Both buildings share a common schoolyard with a multi-arena in the center.

As a teacher in middle school, you will belong to the middle school team. You will collaborate with colleagues and guardians. You will teach in grade 4. During the spring term of 2026, we will provide the opportunity to co-teach in a class. This means that the class will have the chance for targeted support, such as small group instruction during the spring term of 2026.

Your Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and assess students in consultation with the mentor and subject teachers. Collaboration with colleagues within the grade and subjects is of great importance. We want you to actively participate in the school's pedagogical development.

You need to be a certified teacher in Social Studies and English. If you have broader subject qualifications, it is an advantage. You reflect on your teaching and the results and adjust so that all students have the opportunity for high achievement. You have high expectations for the students and employ an inclusive approach. You are positive about developing your teaching, using digital tools, teaching materials, and literature to provide students with the conditions for high results. The school has access to digital tools.

The position is a full-time temporary employment from January 7, 2026, to June 19, 2026. Apply by January 1, 2026. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
