We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer who wants to be part of a new development team being established at a major public sector organization in Stockholm. You will work across the entire stack – with a focus on backend in C#/.NET – building web applications and supporting services. The role offers great opportunities to influence team culture, working methods, and tool choices.

Your responsibilities

Develop robust backend services in C#/.NET and drive event-driven microservice architecture. Design and optimize databases and APIs (SQL/NoSQL) for secure and efficient communication. Work with frontend in React and translate UX/UI design into accessible, responsive interfaces. Participate in the entire lifecycle: concept, design, implementation, performance optimization, deployment, and maintenance. Identify and address bottlenecks, bugs, and regressions; enhance efficiency and quality. Collaborate closely with product, UX, developers, and testing, and contribute to common technical direction. Work according to established processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, CI/CD).

Qualifications (mandatory)

At least 4 years of documented server-side development in C# on the .NET platform. At least 3 years of developing microservices using event-driven design. At least 6 years of documented backend experience from at least two assignments. At least 3 years of database management, including at least 1 year of NoSQL in the last 5 years. At least 2 years of development with React (JavaScript/TypeScript). At least two assignments with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent). At least 3 years with Docker and Kubernetes (container orchestration).

Preferred experiences

2 years of server management in on-prem environments. Implemented authentication and authorization (RBAC) in the backend (at least one assignment). Test-driven development (TDD) in at least one assignment. 3 years of work with message queues/pub-sub: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus or similar. Experience from the public sector.

Location

Primarily on-site in central Stockholm. Hybrid possible as needed and by agreement.

Start: 2025-10-20 End: 2026-12-31 Scope: 40 hours/week

Extension options: 1 + 1 year on unchanged terms
