Your Role

As a software developer of embedded systems within the defense industry, you will be part of an innovative and socially important mission. You will work with advanced technology that makes a difference – and contribute to protecting people and communities. Here, technical excellence is combined with a clear purpose.

In this role, you will play a key part in:

• Consulting, innovation, and development within the defense industry and industry in general.

• Agile work according to Scrum or Kanban.

• Communication with internal and external stakeholders, technical investigations, and collaboration with technical leaders, project managers, and/or Scrum Masters.

• Software development with a focus on C, C++.

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced C++ developer in embedded systems who wants to contribute to a greater purpose. You are curious, solution-oriented, and have a strong technical foundation.

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:

• Several years of experience in C++ programming, primarily in a Linux environment.

• Experience in system design, technical documentation, and requirements work with verification and breakdown.

• At least 4 years of work experience as an engineer.

• An academic degree (at least bachelor's level) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, or similar.

• Fluent Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

• Experience with other programming languages, e.g., Python or Java.

• Previous work in the military, defense, or aerospace industry.

• Experience working with FPGAs with embedded processors, particularly in firmware development (VHDL).

• Experience with Matlab for analysis, simulation, or modeling.

• Swedish citizenship.

This position is security classified. Security clearance will be conducted according to Swedish legislation, which means you need to meet certain requirements, including citizenship within the EU or NATO in the case of dual citizenship.
