About the position We are currently seeking personal assistants for a 21-year-old young man living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and autism, residing in Tungelsta, Haninge municipality. He has interests such as gaming, anime, and computers, and would appreciate it if you, as an assistant, share similar interests. The positions are hourly employment as needed and during the absence of regular staff, with a good chance of a higher degree of employment. Your tasks will include supporting daily routines, heavy lifting, personal hygiene, training, meals, and dressing and undressing. The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 15:00 - 10:00 (with waiting time),
• 15:00 - 22:00,
• 15:00 - 15:00 (with waiting time).

About you

As a personal assistant for this position, it is important that you have good communication skills. To build a foundation for communication, you need to demonstrate that you have patience, can build psychological safety, and can sense the situation and read the client.

It is an advantage if you are a person who is cooperative, attentive, responsible, flexible, and a good team player.

The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as a candidate and the client, which can be crucial in the final selection.

Requirements:

• Not allergic to pets,
• Tolerate chlorine and be able to swim,
• Have care experience/training,
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you

• Are flexible with working hours and can work both daytime and nighttime with waiting time,
• Have a B driver's license and access to a car,
• Have experience with Duchenne and autism,
• Have leadership qualities.

Scope: Extra/as needed with a good chance of a higher degree of employment.  Number of positions: 2. Start date: Immediately.
