Our client is a Swedish high-tech company in the defense industry, specializing in the development of advanced marine products and systems for underwater environments. They work with torpedoes, mine systems, and autonomous or remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV/AUV).

The products operate in extreme environments below the water surface, which places high demands on both construction, software, and analysis. Innovation, precision, and reliability permeate the entire development chain.

We are now looking for a junior quality engineer for the ROV department, where you will play an important role in developing and ensuring the quality of underwater systems for mine clearance, wreck exploration, and environmental resources in the ocean. You will help ensure that the products meet the right quality and fulfill customer requirements, standards, and laws.

As a quality engineer, you will work closely with production and other departments to prevent problems, analyze deviations, and drive improvement work. The assignment is a parental leave cover that extends until February 2026, but for the right person, there may be an opportunity for extension.

The work is varied and involves everything from handling error reports in the case management system to being out in production to identify improvements. You will also participate in the weekly steering meeting for ROV, where disturbances and quality deviations are reported. The role is characterized by close collaboration with assemblers, production, and quality engineers.

You will be part of a tight-knit team that does a lot together, both at work and outside of it. The department functions like a small company within the company, creating a family-like atmosphere and good opportunities for development.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Work experience from production, for example as an assembler

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you have previously worked as a quality engineer or have a technical/electronics background.

As a person, you are social and enjoy talking to different types of people. You take initiative, can set requirements, and do not wait for things to happen on their own. Careful documentation and follow-up are a natural part of the work for you, and you are driven by finding solutions and improving existing processes.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, parental leave cover until February 2026

Start: Immediately, considering your possible notice period

Location: Linköping
