Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate elderly homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and fulfilling everyday life, with activities, community, and good and pleasant meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

From February 2026, Ersta diakoni will take over the operation of Johanneslund's elderly home in Västerhaninge. Right now, you who want to work as a substitute can express your interest in becoming part of our team! As a substitute, you step in as needed, for example, in case of illness or vacations. You will be paid for the hours you work – a flexible job that can be combined with studies or other activities.

About the role

As a care assistant or nursing assistant, you work closely with the residents and together with your colleagues. You plan the day according to each person's needs and wishes. You help create safety, a sense of home, and an everyday life with care, meals, and activities.

Who are you?

You have a great interest in people, are confident in yourself, and find it easy to collaborate with others. We also see that you are meticulous and communicative.

Your experience

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained nursing assistant, studying to become a nursing assistant, or have experience in elderly care
• can speak and write Swedish well
• are computer literate
