As a caregiver at Haga Äng, you are a valuable key person in the care of our residents. We are looking for someone who is confident and skilled in their professional role and has a genuine interest in meeting people in various life situations.

You work closely with the residents and are responsible for providing personal care of high quality, in accordance with the care plan. Your work contributes to creating a safe, meaningful, and dignified everyday life for each individual.

Together with an engaged team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, elderly educators, and the operations manager, you collaborate to provide our residents with a good life – every day. You are an important part of the daily quality work and contribute with both competence and care.

In your role, you will among other things

• - Be a contact person and work according to Norlandia's concept Your Day, focusing on the individual's wishes, needs, and participation.
• - Provide personal care and support with respect for the resident's own resources and abilities.
• - Work according to the concept Tasty Meal to create a positive dining experience that adds joy to everyday life.
• - Document according to the Social Services Act – maintain social records, establish and follow up care plans.
• - Create meaningful moments by planning and carrying out daily activities, outdoor activities, entertainment, and culture – both individually and in groups.
• - Perform service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, escorting, and shopping, with care and respect.
• - Receive and perform delegated tasks, such as medication delegation.
• - Take responsibility in representative roles and contribute to development in specific areas.
• - Actively participate in the organization's quality and improvement work – together we create a safe and professional care environment.

About Haga Äng

Haga Äng is a nursing home located in the quiet area of Malmaberg, with good communication opportunities.

The bus stop for line 4 is within a short walking distance, making it easy to get to and from work. In the surrounding area, there are beautiful walking paths, green areas, grocery stores, and restaurants – a pleasant environment for both residents and employees.

The facility has a total of 62 apartments spread over four floors. Floors 3–5 are focused on individuals with dementia, while floor 2 is aimed at older individuals with mental disabilities. We work person-centered and with a health-promoting approach, where each individual should feel safe, seen, and involved.

• You need to have proof of the right to use the job title caregiver from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience in care
• You need to have good knowledge of documentation
• You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• We prefer that you have good computer skills
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations

Employment type: Permanent

Extent: 75-80% according to agreement

Start date: According to agreement

Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
