Quality and Environmental Manager

Gas Bottle Test Center i Sverige AB is a company based in Vara, specializing in the inspection and classification of gas cylinders. We offer services such as recurring inspections of seamless gas cylinders made of steel or aluminum, valve and handle replacement, as well as professional blasting and powder coating to extend the lifespan of gas cylinders and ensure optimal function. We are accredited by SWEDAC, which means that our methods and processes meet strict national and international standards for technical testing and analysis. We started our operations in 2022 and currently have 11 employees.

As part of our growth, we are now looking for a driven Quality and Environmental Manager for our operations. Responsibilities

In this position, you will have the opportunity to own the entire process within the quality and environmental area. You will ensure that we meet accreditation and ISO requirements and actively work to implement routines and standards in the organization. The role involves close collaboration with both management and production, where you balance demands for quality and safety with efficient and smooth production. Your tasks include interpreting and implementing standards, creating and following up routines, and conducting internal training.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing customer dialogues regarding quality goals and safety requirements while conducting internal audits. In this role, you will be part of the management team where we continuously work on process improvement and efficiency that strengthens the organization and contributes to our journey towards development and growth.

The position is full-time, daytime, and located in Vara.

Profile

We are looking for someone with further education in quality and the environment or equivalent work experience. You have a good understanding of standards, especially ISO 9001 and 14001, and are accustomed to interpreting regulations. You are confident and self-sufficient in your role to drive issues related to quality and environmental work.

We see it as an advantage if you have experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment, particularly with Excel and SharePoint. Since the role involves international customer contact, we expect you to be proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Knowledge of French or German is a plus.
