At Edge of Talent, we help our clients find the right skills. We are now looking for several excavator operators for an exciting opportunity with our client – a company that is building Europe’s first large-scale industrial investment in geothermal energy.

About the role

As an excavator operator, you will be a key person in the field. You will work in a team close to drilling and construction crews and be responsible for safe and efficient excavation, planning, loading, and establishment on site. The work is outdoors year-round and involves travel and shift work.

Your main tasks

Excavation and planning for geothermal projects (roads, surfaces, pipe trenches, etc.) Loading and material handling on the worksite Establishment/dismantling and site safety Daily inspection of the machine and basic maintenance Collaboration with site management, drilling, and logistics teams

Who are you?

You operate the excavator safely and securely (tracked and/or wheeled) You thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment and enjoy working in teams You are meticulous, safety-conscious, and solution-oriented

Requirements

Driver's license B 18 years old Experience operating excavators in construction environments

Meritorious

Professional certificate/training certificate for construction machine operators (TYA/Byggnads) Familiarity with GPS/machine control (2D/3D), laser, and reading blueprints Experience in earthworks/VA, energy, infrastructure, or similar Wheel loader/forklift/crane (certificates), ESA/Safety on the Road, hot work
