Svedala Health Center is a private healthcare center with an agreement with Region Skåne, currently serving about 4600 registered patients and approximately 20 enthusiastic and motivated employees. We have a broad mandate that includes both acute and planned visits, elderly care, and treatment and follow-up of chronic diseases. We will also open a child health center (BVC) in January 2026.

Our team consists of specialist doctors in general medicine, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, physiotherapists, dietitians, and occupational therapists. We also have nurses with special expertise in diabetes, asthma, and COPD, which gives us excellent opportunities to provide structured and high-quality care for patients with chronic diseases. We have a close and good collaboration between professions as well as with the municipality. Our goal is to provide patients with safe, accessible, and high-quality care. We work on the principle that all patients should have a named primary physician and very high continuity in this relationship. We are eager to drive development forward in terms of utilizing new technology and new working methods, including the use of digital platforms.

We are growing and planning, together with Svedala Municipality, to open a family center in January 2026, which will provide new opportunities for collaboration and further strengthen our work around preventive care and a holistic perspective for children and families.

The health center is centrally located in Svedala, within walking distance to the train station and with excellent commuting options from all over southern Skåne.

At our workplace, we strive to work in a cross-professional manner with an open climate where everyone can express their opinions. The health center is open in the evenings two days a week and on all weekends and holidays. The management team is very present, and the decision-making paths are short.

About the job/Job responsibilities

We are in an exciting development phase and are now looking for a licensed physician for a 6-month probationary employment. During your employment, you will have a primary supervisor with regular supervision time. The position may lead to a ST position in general medicine.

About you/Qualifications

We welcome you who have a Swedish medical license with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare and are eligible to start ST training in general medicine (completed AT or BT).

You have:

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, corresponding to at least C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale.

A genuine interest in general medicine and the breadth and holistic perspective of primary care.

We highly value personal qualities such as collaboration skills, responsibility, engagement, and a willingness to contribute to the development of the organization. You have a holistic view of both work and the patient and adapt easily to different circumstances. Furthermore, your work is characterized by being meticulous, structured, and having a flexible approach. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.

We expect you to be involved and proactive in improvement work and organizational development. We have come far in digital development with a modern working environment.

Other information

Scope: Full-time.

Working hours: weekdays 8-17

Employment form: Probationary employment for 6 months. If granted ST service, a fixed-term employment associated with specialization training.
