Personal Assistant for Young Woman in Upplands Väsby

She lives an active life with her partner, who is also one of her assistants. Now we are looking for you who want to be part of her team.

About the Role

Our client has a congenital disability and is wheelchair-bound. She has reduced motor skills and a speech impairment, which means that communication may sometimes require extra sensitivity and collaboration with relatives or colleagues. As a personal assistant, you will be her extended arm in daily life and an important part of helping her continue to live the life she wants.

The work involves both practical support in daily life and presence in social contexts, as she enjoys being in places like restaurants and other environments outside the home.

Working Hours

We are looking for someone who can work:

* Tuesdays from 18:30 to 07:30

* Every other Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00

We are looking for someone who

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is responsible, flexible, and punctual
• Has experience with alternative communication, e.g., Bliss, or is willing to learn
• Tolerates dogs and cigarette smoke in the home
• Feels comfortable in social settings, even in bars or similar environments

It is a plus if you

• Have experience in personal assistance or similar work
• Share the client's interests such as fashion, film, photography, or crafts

Previous experience is not a requirement; we value personal chemistry and engagement the most. Of course, you will receive an introduction on-site.

Employment Conditions

Work percentage: approx. 27.5%

Employment form: "As long as the assistance assignment lasts"

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and collective agreement
