The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 residents. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. Staffing Service NU Health Care
The Staffing Service at NU Health Care is organized under the Surgical Clinic and is a staffing unit whose mission is primarily to cover the needs of the operations during short-term absences. The Staffing Service staffs all areas of the hospital with both nurses and nursing assistants.
As a nurse in the Staffing Service, you will have a home department in either Area I or Area II, but can work in several departments across all areas. During the summer period, you will work and have planned vacation in your home department. When needed, nurses can be placed in the same department for 6-8 weeks.
For your flexibility, competence, and willingness to alternate work between several different units, we offer you a salary supplement!
With us, we offer individually tailored mentorship and further development, in the form of continuous competence development/internal training within the knowledge areas we identify together. We want you to feel secure and for your work to be safe!
Working in the Staffing Service
As an employee with us in the Staffing Service, you report to the unit manager of the Staffing Service. Your mission is to cover absences in the departments of the hospital you are connected to. They can be within various medical and surgical specialties or orthopedics. This means you will have the opportunity to see several different operations and stimulating work environments, as well as grow in your role as a nurse with new personal challenges.
Who are we looking for?
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with two years of professional experience. We would like you to have worked at least one year in hospital care/emergency care.
Your personal qualities are very important as this work is about customer focus and patient focus. You are positive and engaged and have an easy time adapting to different work environments, tasks, and you have good communication skills.
As a person, you need to feel secure in your professional role and be able to work independently with a clear sense of service and responsibility. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
