Skandistål is one of the largest Nordic importers of bar materials, forging, and rolled rings. Since its inception in 1999, the company has grown through strong customer relationships, deep material knowledge, and close collaboration with both customers and suppliers. The company delivers everything from stock items to drawing-based products – from its own warehouse in Landskrona or directly from factories in Europe and around the world.

The Role of Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager at Skandistål, you are responsible for the entire customer journey – from nurturing and developing existing collaborations to identifying new business opportunities. You use your technical understanding and business sense to create value for customers and contribute to long-term relationships. The role is varied and gives you both responsibility and freedom to drive business your way.
Your main tasks:
- Nurture and develop long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and create new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers.
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal solutions for customers.
- Use drawing understanding and technical dialogue to meet customer needs.
- Travel to meet customers and suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
You will be part of an experienced sales team with three other Key Account Managers and report directly to the CEO.
Who are you?
We believe you have a background in the steel or manufacturing industry, with an understanding of steel, machining, and reading drawings. You are social, curious, and trustworthy, and have a natural ability to create relationships and drive business forward.
We would like you to have:
- Experience from the steel or manufacturing industry, preferably with elements of sales.
- The ability to read and understand drawings at a general level.
- Good language skills in English – additional languages are a plus.
- The habit and willingness to travel, both in Sweden and internationally.
- A social and communicative personality with the ability to create long-term relationships.
