Work as a Casual Occupational Therapist at Furuhöjden

Are you a confident, driven, and collaborative Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible employment opportunity? Furuhöjden is now seeking a casual Occupational Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation.

About the Position

In your role as an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in our inpatient rehabilitation; Furuhöjden Rehabilitation.

In this role, you will have the chance to work in all departments; neurology, orthopedics, and surgery/thorax. Here, you will assess the patient's functional and ADL abilities and collaboratively plan an individual rehabilitation plan for their stay. You will train and guide our patients, both individually and in groups. Your tasks will also include prescribing assistive devices, liaising with external parties, documentation, and writing various certificates. As we have a strong focus on teamwork at Furuhöjden, you are expected to be a team player who communicates well with your colleagues and supports and assists where needed. Care is also part of the work with us.

About You

We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist, with experience in rehabilitation in a ward being an advantage. Since this role is a casual position, you will have the opportunity to work in all departments at Furuhöjden Rehabilitation, so it is essential that you are flexible, adaptable, and confident both as a person and in your role as an occupational therapist. You enjoy taking responsibility and contributing to the whole, you like to work in a team around the patient/guest but can work independently when needed. Having a positive attitude and engagement is important to us.

Requirements:

- Licensed Occupational Therapist

- At least 1 year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist

- Experience with TakeCare & LifeCare

Conditions

We have a collective agreement through Almega/Vårdföretagarna and apply individual salary setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you primarily work weekdays, Monday to Friday. The position is a casual employment which means you are expected to work when the organization has needs, providing you as an employee with great flexibility, and you also have the opportunity to request days off through our scheduling system Planday.
