Registered Nurse to Cs/ECT Team

The Psychiatric Clinic is part of the Skellefteå Primary Care Area, together with the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, and Primary Care in Skellefteå and Norsjö municipalities. Together, we aim to provide good and close care.

The Psychiatric Clinic consists of approximately 250 employees. We provide both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as psychiatric compulsory care. We have 2 general psychiatric wards, a Dependency Ward, and a community placement. The outpatient care has several units including 2 adult clinics, a Young Adults clinic, a Dependency clinic, an Emergency and Assessment Unit, and other specialized outpatient units such as Clinic 3.

Clinic 3 consists of several smaller specialized units: the MBT team, which treats individuals with personality disorders; the Elderly Team, which targets individuals over 68 years old with mental health issues; and the Medication Service, which administers and evaluates medication treatments and follows up on lithium and central stimulants. The Cs/ECT team is also part of Clinic 3, where we are now seeking a nurse. The position also includes the possibility of working outside unit boundaries when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work in an exciting and varied role in an organization under development.

As a nurse in the Cs/ECT team, you will work with medication treatment for ADHD/ADD, which involves initiating, dosing, and evaluating medication treatments within the central stimulant group. This occurs through clinic visits or via phone contact. Furthermore, you will be part of the team that plans, implements, and evaluates all ECT treatments at the clinic. You will collaborate closely with other professionals, both in outpatient and inpatient care, as well as with relatives and care neighbors.

You will work daytime, Monday to Friday. Since you will collaborate daily with the clinic's other units and departments, other care providers, and sometimes also with patients' relatives, we are looking for someone who is good at collaborating.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a registered nurse who has the ability to see the whole picture and the willingness to work in a workplace where the patient always comes first. Other qualities we consider valuable are teamwork and flexibility, as well as the ability to work independently.

It is an advantage if you have further education in Psychiatry or work experience in Psychiatric care.
