As a Food Safety Technician at Rentokil, you will work to ensure and further develop the company's various services within the business area of Food Safety. We work on behalf of food companies, retail chains, hotels, municipalities, and industries. One of the main tasks of Food Safety Technicians is to support and develop customers' food safety work through, for example, hygiene inspections, audits, sampling, and self-control programs.
As a Food Safety Technician, you will perform food and water sampling as well as cleaning tests at our customers' sites. Conducting training on basic food hygiene and establishing self-control programs for our customers are also tasks that a Food Safety Technician at Rentokil has. In this role, you are also expected to work with pest prevention inspections and, to some extent, pest control. You will work with risk analyses, prepare documentation, and assist customers with any pest problems. Travel/overnight stays may occur in the position but are not common. The majority of the work is normally conducted during daytime hours on weekdays. The position is a permanent employment, but there is an opportunity for other employment forms.

Qualifications
- Higher education or equivalent knowledge
- Documented experience in food, microbiology, or equivalent
- You speak and write Swedish fluently
- You have a B driver's license for manual transmission
- You have good computer skills
- You should be able to conduct food safety training
We prefer that you have education in food knowledge, food hygiene, microbiology, or solid previous work experience from the food industry, such as open handling in stores like hot/cold kitchens, food industry. Knowledge of HACCP and working with food-oriented self-control programs.
You should also be able to conduct food safety training.
Our food safety technicians come from various backgrounds, including nutritionists, agronomists, process operators, chefs, and cold kitchen staff.
