Electronic Control and Measurement (ECM) provides measurement systems, software, and hardware products used for the development of the next generation of vehicles. In close collaboration with world-leading suppliers, ECM is an important partner to vehicle manufacturers. To meet the ongoing changes in the automotive industry, ECM's products focus on modern electric drivetrains, new networking technologies for vehicles, advanced logging solutions with cloud services while also supporting traditional drivetrain development. The office in Sweden works with sales, support, customizations, and software development.

About the position

As an HIL specialist, you will be based at the headquarters in Mölndal. ECM has built a strong customer base over many years thanks to first-class support, world-leading suppliers, and high technical competence. Your role will be to develop, configure, and deploy HIL systems while supporting our customers in their verification and testing work. You will work closely with both customers and colleagues and become a central part of ensuring quality and reliability in future vehicle systems.

You will report directly to the company's COO and collaborate with the group's other experts.

Your tasks will include:

· Developing and configuring HIL systems. · Supporting customers with integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of test environments. · Developing test scripts and automated verification solutions. · Participating in customer projects and contributing technical expertise in both the quotation and delivery phases. · Providing internal feedback on customer needs for new features, products, and solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or mechatronics. You have experience with HIL environments and have preferably worked with tools such as Python/Linux, as well as a good understanding of embedded systems and vehicle electronics. Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet is an advantage, as well as knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python).

As a person, you are technically interested, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating closely with both customers and colleagues. You are a good communicator who can translate complex technical needs into practical solutions. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to represent ECM professionally. You must be fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
