Nordion Energi is an energy company formed to help drive the transition to 100% green energy. We have a challenging growth strategy until 2030 where we aim to regain lost volumes, primarily from industrial customers, while also becoming the first in Europe with 100% green gas. To achieve our goal, we need to connect more biogas producers to the gas network. There is interest in connecting to the gas network, both among existing and planned biogas producers, but not all are located within the immediate vicinity of the existing gas network. To reach all producers, we need to expand the gas network, and this is where you, as the head of our facility projects, come into the picture. 

Your job offer As the head of the project operations within the Business Area Gas Network, you will play a key role in leading and driving strategically important facility projects within gas and energy. You will be involved from early planning to completed facility, with the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and the overall direction of the project. • Lead and develop the daily operations within the unit.
• Ensure employee engagement, work environment, and skills development.
• Be responsible for projects being executed according to schedule, budget, quality, and set goals.
• Drive the unit's development with a focus on efficiency, safety, and value creation.
• Ensure that the operations contribute to societal benefit and long-term development of the gas network operations.
• Plan and implement reinvestment projects in existing facilities to optimize our facility assets.
• Lead growth projects, such as connecting new customers and biogas plants in line with the company's growth strategy.
• Act as operational project manager for selected projects as needed.
• Follow up and report project status and results to management and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external partners.

Worth noting You will be based at Nordion Energi's headquarters in Malmö. You will be responsible for a team of 5 project managers. You will be part of the management team of the facility operations within the Business Area Gas Network and report to Bobby, who is the Gas Network Manager.  Our expectations We are looking for someone with an academic background in a relevant field, such as energy, construction, mechanical engineering, or industrial economics. You have several years of experience leading projects from start to finish and are accustomed to handling both technical issues and many stakeholders simultaneously. You have a strong business sense and a commercial mindset, with the ability to identify business opportunities, optimize resource use, and ensure profitability in projects. Experience from the energy sector is particularly valuable, but we also welcome candidates with experience in infrastructure, process industry, or other related fields. We place great importance on your previous experience in personnel responsibility and team leadership. You have demonstrated secure leadership by creating conditions for a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. You are skilled in clear communication both upwards, downwards, and cross-functionally, and have the ability to lead through change by motivating, explaining, and engaging. You work on employee development through coaching leadership and structured skills supply, and have experience making strategic decisions that balance operational goals, sustainability, and employee perspectives. Certification in project management, such as PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2, is advantageous, as well as good knowledge of contract law, AMA, AB/ABT, and relevant industry standards.
