Work as a substitute

Bräcke home care in Alingsås is looking for substitutes starting before and after Christmas. As a substitute, you work as needed when regular staff are absent. This can range from a few hours to a longer period. During working hours, you will have the opportunity to participate in individual meetings for planning and training.

Your tasks

In home care, you provide support that helps people cope more and feel more independent. Together with colleagues, you take a car or e-bike to meet customers in their homes. The work is varied with care and light cleaning tasks. A large part also involves being a companion and accompanying customers on practical errands outside the home. If you are a trained nursing assistant, you may be responsible for handling medication. You ensure that medications are given on time and to the right person. This task is done with the support of a nurse after completing an introductory training.

Who we are looking for

For us, it is important that customers receive the support that meets their needs, well-being, and interests. Therefore, you need to be a good and caring listener who strives to find solutions together with the people you meet. With previous experience in care and support, you can work independently and with the support of colleagues when making home visits. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant with a protected title.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Relevant experience and/or education in care and support.
• Can ride a bike
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
