Job Description

We are looking for an Android developer for an assignment.

In this role, you will work on the development of native apps for various Android devices within a leading streaming service. You will be part of a cross-functional team where the focus is on creating a first-class user experience, while the systems place high demands on stability and security.

To succeed in this role, you enjoy collaborating and value open communication. You are curious, pragmatic, and comfortable working in an agile team where new ways of working are encouraged. You are happy to share your knowledge and have a strong desire to develop both yourself and together with others.

Must-have requirements:

• You have strong collaboration skills and are a good listener
• You have several years of experience in Android development
• You have good knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• You have experience building native Android apps
• You are familiar with modern development methods
• You are creative

Preferred qualifications:

• You have experience with Android TV, Google's ecosystem (e.g., Cast, Nest)
• You have experience with larger media or streaming apps
• Accessibility/inclusive design or video streaming
• You have an interest in contributing to the development of work processes
• You have knowledge of reactive programming (e.g., Flows, Apollo)
