Practical training for Specialist Physicians in the Med3Comp project Falun

Are you a specialist physician educated outside the EU/EES? Join Region Dalarna's EU-funded Med3Comp project and complete six months of clinical training, with language support and integration assistance available.

Swedish language level B2 or higher is required, and a decision from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) confirming the need for clinical training must be attached.

Med3Comp is an EU-funded project aimed at facilitating the validation process for specialist physicians educated outside the EU/EES and supporting both professional and social integration in Sweden.

As a participant in the program, you will:

• Participate in clinical practice for 6 months, practical training.
• Receive language support if needed.
• Participate in community orientation as part of your integration into Swedish society.
• Receive assistance with practical matters such as work permits, housing, and schools for both you and any accompanying family members.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has received a decision to undertake practical training from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Has Swedish language skills at least at level B2, which we assess as sufficient for practical training.
• Is a specialist physician.

NOTE, we cannot process applications that do not have the decision regarding practical training attached.

Personal Attributes: 

It is important that you can work well with others, are attentive, and have a good attitude towards patients and colleagues. You organize and prioritize your work effectively. Selection for the project is based on Region Dalarna's current need for specialist physicians. For example, if a healthcare center is seeking a specialist physician in general medicine, this specialty will be prioritized in the selection of applications. However, it is crucial that all requirements and personal attributes are met.
