Karlbergsskolan is a grades 7-9 school built in 1905. It is a beautiful old school located by Karlbergsskogen. There are good connections as the school is close to the center and the train station in Köping. There are about 400 students at the school, and we have a music profile for about 25 students per grade. The staff is dedicated, and there is a strong sense of community at the school. We are organized into grade teams and also meet regularly in subject teams. The student health team works to provide good support for students and teachers, and its strength lies in the various professions that complement each other. We work to develop our preventive and health-promoting efforts.

Students have access to an iPad, and there is an IT educator at the school who is very helpful and available to the staff.

Responsibilities

You will work as a teacher in physics and technology and be a contact teacher. By taking advantage of students' interests, you will make the teaching varied and exciting, and in your interactions with students, you will continuously develop yourself and your role as a teacher. You will work both theoretically and practically in the subjects.

An important part of your work is to document students' learning, which should help them achieve their knowledge goals. We use the school system UNIKUM. In addition to pedagogical work, you will build relationships and collaborate with other teaching teachers, the student health team, and guardians. Together with the math/natural science subject team, you will help develop your workplace through ideas and improvement suggestions.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades 7-9 in physics and technology. Students' learning is your focus, and you work to ensure that all students reach their full potential.

You are a clear leader in the classroom and can create good relationships with students.
Your pedagogical leadership also means that you have a good structure when you work, provide varied teaching, and possess digital competence.
You work with student influence to engage students in their education.
You have the ability to translate the curriculum and other governing documents into your work.
You enjoy working in a team, are flexible, and solution-focused.
