Substitute Teachers in Preschools in Arboga Municipality

Arboga Municipality and the Department of Children and Education are in need of substitute teachers in preschools to cover short-term absences of regular staff.

There are 10 preschools in Arboga Municipality and the Department of Children and Education.

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute in preschool, you will work with both smaller and larger groups of children aged 1 to 5 years. You will participate in activities that occur in preschool such as gatherings, outdoor activities, rest, and meals.

You will work through the Staffing Unit and continuously update your availability in the Time Care Pool system to show when you can work. You will be booked for shifts via SMS and should be able to arrive at the workplace within a maximum of 45 minutes from when the SMS booking has been sent to you.

Qualifications

You have a high school diploma, are a trained childcare worker, or have previous experience working in preschools, preferably as a preschool teacher student or are considering studying to become a preschool teacher. We prefer that you have experience working with children, but it is not a requirement. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Approved SFI level D.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and has an interest and respect for each child's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In our operations, the law on background checks (2000:873) applies. To work as a substitute, you must present a current and approved extract from the criminal record.
