Näslundskolan is a F-6 school with just over 200 students. This school year, we have moved back to Näs and into a completely new school with purpose-built facilities. We are about 30 employees who work together to provide our students with the best possible education. For us, quality in the operation is self-evident, and collaboration with home is important to support students on their knowledge journey through life. We encourage students' curiosity and creativity and consider each individual's conditions. The staff has the students' best interests in mind in both planning and implementing the activities. You believe that after-school activities are a natural part of the school's mission towards increased goal fulfillment and see the students and your colleagues in the team as resources. You will primarily work with the older students from grade 2 and up, but this may change, so you should be flexible regarding the work organization.

You, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the students in after-school care and believe it is important to create good relationships with both students and guardians. You are a clear leader and see collegial learning as a success factor. You are familiar with Lgr 22 and motivated to develop your skills together with others. You are flexible regarding working hours as we staff after-school care between 06:00-18:30.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks consist of planning and conducting teaching in after-school care. During the school day, you collaborate with teachers in grades F-3 and support students in all contexts, such as being present in the changing room during sports, supporting students during swimming lessons, and being outside during breaks. You enjoy being outdoors and see break activities and movement throughout the school day as an important part and plan and carry out activities on the schoolyard where all students can participate.

QUALIFICATIONS

You participate with your colleagues in pedagogical initiatives and discussions that involve collegial learning.

As we have qualification requirements according to the Swedish National Agency for Education regarding staff in after-school care, you have a license as a leisure educator or teacher in after-school care.

As a social educator in after-school care, the position entails the same tasks as a leisure educator, but you have an extra focus and responsibility for supporting students with their social development, and you are also part of the Safety Team together with the school's counselor. For this position, you have an education as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent.
