About Apoteket Lejonet

Here at Apoteket Lejonet, you have the opportunity to work in a large, open, and pleasant pharmacy located in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Västervik. Here we face a high prescription pressure from both the hospital and the surrounding area, and we are proud to serve residents, home care groups, and the dependency unit. This gives us varied and meaningful tasks every day.

The pharmacy offers extensive self-care and is run by a dedicated team of six pharmacists and four self-care advisors, reinforced by part-time staff and personnel from our close collaboration with Västervik's other pharmacy, Tullporten. We work closely together within the region to meet our customers' needs in the best way. The working hours for this position are within the local pharmacy's opening hours: Weekdays 08-18, Saturdays 09-14, and Sundays 10-15.

Your role

Our pharmacists always work with care, quality, and the customer's needs in focus. In your role with us, you contribute to a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for everyone who visits us. In your role, you will handle counseling, prescription dispensing, and self-care, and take responsibility for safety and service in every customer interaction.

• Provide professional advice and create added value in every customer interaction, with care and understanding of people's different needs.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality in everything you do, so that our customers can feel safe with us.
• Share knowledge and experience with your colleagues – we grow and develop together.
• Stay updated on our product range and our campaigns, to provide customers with the best possible assistance.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to develop both the workday and customer experience at our pharmacy.

For this position, you need to be a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician, with a clear interest in people, health, and medications.

• You preferably have a couple of years of experience from a pharmacy, but you can also be at the beginning of your career.
• You have a particular interest in self-care, digital counseling, quality, or mentoring.
• You have a warm and professional demeanor where you see each customer.
• You enjoy collaborating and contribute positively to the team.
