Your New Role 

We are now looking for a junior buyer for a consulting assignment with our client in Linköping. The role is suitable for you who are at the beginning of your career in purchasing and want to develop in an international, high-tech environment.

As a junior buyer, you will primarily work with the procurement of indirect materials and support the existing purchasing team in their daily work. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in operational purchasing, work closely with suppliers, and contribute to ensuring that the business has the right materials at the right time.

Your responsibilities include:

• Order placement and follow-up of deliveries
• Handling of indirect material purchases
• Contact with suppliers, both nationally and internationally
• Administrative support to the purchasing team
• Collaboration with internal functions such as production, material planning, and projects

To be successful in this role, you need

• 1–4 years of experience in operational purchasing or relevant work experience in logistics or similar.
• Good computer skills and experience working in business systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship (due to ITAR regulations)
• Preferred: Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Preferred: Knowledge of purchasing processes

Work model: 100% onsite in Linköping. Start: Immediately. End: 2025-12-31. The role is expected to transition to employment with the client after the assignment period/a possible extension.
